FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
How To Get Involved in FFA
Entering the program as a freshman student is the best time to start getting involved. The FFA program also accepts sophomore, juniors, and seniors into the program. You must be enrolled in an Agriculture class to become involved in the FFA. An FFA unit is taught in the Introduction to Applied Science/Agriculture Class so that new students learn and recognize the variety of leadership opportunities in the Agriculture Program.
Unlimited opportunities for leadership are available for students throughout the four year program. Chapter FFA meetings and activities, leadership conferences, Career Development Events, and public speaking are examples of some activities you can get involved in. Please look at the calendars for event dates and speak with your agriculture advisor to find out more about these exciting opportunities. The FFA participates in many community service activities throughout the year.
