Presides over and conducts meetings according to accepted parliamentary procedure.Represents the chapter and speaks on occasions as necessary.Keeps chapter work moving in a satisfactory manner.
Assists the President, and presides at meetings in the absence of the President.Is prepared and able to take over the Presidency.Is in charge of all standing committees.
Steps in to take the place of other officers in the event of absence or inability to fulfill the duties of office.Maintains the calendar and list of activities.
Prepares and reads minutes of meetings.Attends to official correspondence and sends out and posts notices.Keeps the permanent records of the chapter.Issues membership cards.
Assists in preparing the annual budget of estimated income and expenditures.Keeps the financial records of the chapter.Obtains financial records from school bookkeeper for each meeting.
Sets up meeting room and cares for chapter paraphernalia and equipment.Sees that the meeting room is comfortable.Responsible to see that all areas used by FFA are cleaned prior to leaving.Will be assisted by all officers in clean-up.
Historian . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Kat Hill Develop and maintain a scrapbook of memorabilia in which to record the chapters history. Research and prepare items of significance of the chapter's history.
Future Farmers of America Standing Chairpersons/Committees 2011 - 2012
Works with advisor in setting up activities for pumpkin and egg delivery to Twilight Pre-Schools, Project Ride functions, canned food drive, seeing eyeglass drive, Letter for Troops, and coat drive.

Responsible for set-up and clean-up of meeting room and all areas where FFA meetings or activities are held.
Scrapbook

Prepares and maintains the chapter scrapbook.
